SCAN · VERIFY · SHELVE
Your collection is a map.
We chart it.
Photograph a cartridge, disc or case. Cartograph confirms the console, region and edition, grades the condition, and gives you a dated, sourced value estimate — then shelves it in a collection that actually feels like yours.

THE COLLECTION
A shelf you can feel.
Every scan lands here as a physical-feeling spine — console plastic, label wear and all. Select a cartridge or case to open its drawer: edition, condition and its latest estimate. Demo collection · sample data.
Illustrative sample data — not a live quote.

INTERACTIVE DEMO
Run a sample scan.
This is the real product flow, front-end only: pick a sample photo, watch the match, confirm the edition, grade the condition, get a dated estimate, shelve it. All results below are illustrative sample data — the production catalog and pricing feeds are dependencies in progress.

THE FLOW
Photo to shelf in four moves.
- 01
Photograph
One shot of the cover, cartridge or disc. Label typography, shell mold and region marks do the talking.
- 02
Confirm the edition
Console, region, print run. You verify the match — a first-print isn't a reprint, and Cartograph knows the difference.
- 03
Grade it
Loose, complete-in-box or sealed, plus a condition grade. Guided prompts keep your grading consistent across the whole shelf.
- 04
See the estimate
A dated, sourced value estimate for your exact edition and condition — then it's on your shelf, in your wanted list, or flagged as a duplicate.
LAUNCH CATALOG
Deep, not wide.
The pilot ships a small console set done properly — verified editions, not a shallow million-SKU import. Coverage below is the plan for the pilot catalog, a dependency we're actively building.

THE PILOT PLAN
The plan: onboard collectors in batches.
Planned for after the app ships: a free accuracy-validation pilot — real shelves, including a store & flea-market lane for collectors who photograph hundreds of items a month. This site is the concept; the iOS app is scoped, not yet built.
- Planned free pilot — pricing is still a hypothesis we'll test with testers
- Planned founding-collector features: bulk desk-scan mode, CSV import, wanted-list alerts
- Signup isn't open yet — there's no waitlist backend here, and we won't fake one
The planned pilot protocol
- Scan 20+ items across at least two consoles
- Flag every wrong match or missing edition
- Grade 5 items twice — we measure grading consistency
- Tell us what your shelf is actually worth knowing
Pilot scope described here is the plan, not a shipped feature list.
Questions collectors ask
Is the app live?
Not yet — Cartograph is a concept-stage company. What exists today is this landing page, the iOS MVP scope and the go-to-market plan. The scan and shelf here are an honest front-end demo with labeled sample data — no live app, AI matching or real pricing is claimed.
Where do value estimates come from?
The MVP plan is dated, sourced estimates built from sold-listing data via catalog/pricing partners — treated as a dependency, never scraped or invented. Every estimate carries a date and source.
Do I keep my data?
Your collection is yours: export to CSV any time. Sample collections on this page contain no real user data.
Can it tell a reprint from a first print?
That's the core problem we're built for — edition confirmation is a required step before anything hits your shelf.
Will you buy or sell games?
Planned later lanes — buy/sell/trade and collection-aware mystery drops — are scoped separately (inventory, fulfillment, returns, margins) in the later-lanes plan, and are not part of the pilot scope.
